Patch vs Plug

Patch: A patch is a repair that involves removing the tire from the rim, inspecting the inner liner, and then applying a patch to cover the puncture from the inside. This method is considered a more permanent and reliable solution, as it addresses both the inner and outer layers of the tire, reducing the risk of air leaks or further damage. It's often used for larger punctures or when safety is a top priority.

Plug: A plug, on the other hand, is a quick and convenient fix inserted directly into the puncture from the outside. It seals the hole and is typically used for smaller punctures in the tire's tread area.
